Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice

We’re dancing at our house because we finally know the gender of Baby #2!

 

Sophia is particularly excited because we bought TWO of these beautiful dresses – one of them in a 0-3 month size. 

That’s right – IT’S A GIRL!!!
 
Unfortunately, the best shot of the dress wasn’t the best shot of Sophia.  She did a bit too much dancing and ran into a chair.  She must have inherited her graceful nature from her mommy. 

We’re so excited to finally know who’s in my tummy and do a little planning.  I can’t wait to use all of Sophia’s adorable clothes again and possibly buy a few more matching outfits.  These were from Gap, were already on sale, then we got a B1G1 50% off deal, so they each ended up being about half off after all the discounts.  Big Sister can wear hers for her birthday party and then we can call on our friend Nealy to take some cute pictures in her in-home studio once the smallest Little Miss has arrived.

Dan and I like to make a big deal out of “Baby Day” a.k.a. ultrasound/gender day.  Thanks to grandma were able to have a nice loooong day with just the two of us (hmm…okay, three of us) shopping for the little babe and hanging out together.

Two girls is a little dream come true for me – Sophia will get to have a sister, something I always dreamed of, and I can’t wait to see them play together, fight and annoy each other, and hopefully become good friends.
