Back-to-work and swaddle-free

This was my first week back at my new/old job. I am back nannying the family I used to work for, but the job is definitely new to me. Since the last time I was their nanny, they've had another baby and now there is one in kindergarten and one in pre-school. With Sophia there three days a week, it goes without saying that it is a BUSY job! I forgot how tired you can be just working 40 hrs a week, not to mention trying to get everything else done in the little time you have at home. I am so thankful to have a job that provides me with 40 hrs. of work each week, while still allowing me to have my little girl with me three days each week.
Sophia comes with me most of the week and on Mondays and Thursdays she is at daycare with an amazing lady named Shelly. We heart Shelly. Within 24 hrs. of being our daycare provider, she had weaned Sophia off the swaddle and handed off a very happy smiley baby. The same baby who has not been a big fan of strangers, or even family members she doesn't see very often.
Sophia now falls asleep on her own, in her bed, usually talking herself to sleep. I took this picture tonight - she fell asleep with her teddy bear. Dan advised against taking the picture, since the flash could have woken her up, but I'm glad I did it. Now we'll have this picture forever!
