Catching up: Turkey Day

Sunday, December 5, 2010

We have NOT been well in the Zustiak household.  That bug that everyone seems to have…yep, we got it.  Gross.  It’s  not been fun – it started last Sunday and we’re finally clear of it.  Hopefully we’re not carrying it anymore.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to wash all of Sophia’s sheets, blankets, etc.  So glad that’s over.

And now that it is, how about some Thanksgiving pictures?!

Cousin Lucas and his parents were visiting MN for the holiday.  Sharing some kisses:

Sophia fell in L-O-V-E with Papa over Thanksgiving.  So fun!  He’s about the only person who will let her go crazy on his computer keyboard, not to mention play lots of silly games and peek-a-boo.  We are now spending lots of time pretending to talk to Papa on the phone, and (are you paying attention Papa??)…she can say “papa”!!

The pictures don’t show it, but Dan and I were there too!  We had a lot of fun with everyone at home at my parents and especially during a looong and very silly game of Apples to Apples.  We’ll definitely  be pulling that one out again soon!

Last Sunday, at the beginning of our sick week, we had Christmas with Dan’s family while his brother’s family was in town, since they aren’t able to come back for Christmas.

Sophia was pretty lethargic (throwing up for six hours will do that to you), but had a little bit of fun.  She got some really cute stuff, and unfortunately I only really have pictures of her stroller, but I’ll try to get a few more in the future.

She spent a lot of the time cuddling with Daddy

and a lot of time trying to show us what she’d really rather have been doing.

Here are a few pictures from this week with her stroller, which she LOVES!  It’s also kick-started the love for her babies, which mommy LOVES!

You can’t see it, but while I was taking this picture she was saying “Baby.”

We’re also learning how to carry the baby in the car seat without the baby dropping on the floor and getting a concussion.  :)
