Shoulda known...

I've called Sophia "monkey" from the very beginning. I should have known.

This morning I got SO much done! By 10 am I'd fed four kids breakfast, sent two off to school, another had taken a morning nap, I did two loads of laundry and one load in the dishwasher, plus made a freezer batch of apple waffles for Evie. We then headed out to Target for a quick grocery run and instead of the usually hitting and screaming between the two toddlers, they played happily the entire time. Typically, a day isn't that productive and satisfying without something to balance it out later on. I should have known...

...that THIS could be coming. Sophia fulfilling her nickname:

And then balancing out the perfect morning with a handful of ful-blown tantrums when I stopped her from climbing.

Not to mention all of the times she and Davis were ripping toys from each others' hands and screaming at the top of their lungs while I made lunch.

Too bad I didn't get a picture of Sophia when she climbed ONTO THE TABLE. That's when you put the camera down for fear of your child's life.
