1. one part on each side of the body in female childbearing humans, at the top of the trunk, extending from each side of the base of the neck to the region where the arm articulates with the trunk.
2. a tightening or pain in the shoulder of a maternal human caused by simultaneously driving and reaching into the backseat of a vehicle for the purpose of appeasing a small child/children. Typically caused when said child/children have thrown a paci/blanket/toy/book/shoe/sock/etc. and are loudly demanding immediate attention
