Happy Halloween!

We started out Halloween with church and then some time at the zoo. Sophia was much more brave than her mommy and touched a snake!
There is a hollowed out log at the zoo along one of the trails that Sophia really loved running through!
Sophia was a bumblebee this year – I’m obviously biased, but she was the CUTEST little bee you’ve ever seen! She even learned to say “bum-ba-bee.” That’s right – THREE syllables!
Check out that stinger!!
We went to a Pumpkin Patch party with some friends at Calvary Baptist Church in Roseville. She sat still for a face painting – amazing!
The entire basement of the church was dedicated to trick-or-treating and a few carnival games. Sophia did such a good job –she walked up to the people with the candy and stood there until they dropped the candy in, then walked away.
Checkin’ out the goods
Most of the games were meant for kids a little bit older than Sophia, but she was able to participate in a couple and got a few small prizes.
We tried SO hard to get a picture of Sophia and Anna together, but this was the best we could get.
The petting zoo outside was, by far, her favorite part. She did her best to climb into the pens with the goats and llamas!
Her very first trick-or-treat house! We only went to three, but it was so much fun to watch her be such a big girl! (And, we’re pretty excited about her candy stash!)
We had so much fun with our cute little bee this year – I can’t wait to see her be even more into Halloween next year!
