A beautiful day at the zoo...

In case you need some Friday entertainment...HERE I AM!! :)

We went to the zoo this morning, and by "we" I mean Davis, Sophia and I. Today would normally be a daycare day for Sophia but the big kids are in Mass. with Libby visiting their cousins. :) YAY for me - it's SOOOO quiet here at work!

At first, it was interesting at best - as we skipped Soph's nap so we could get more time there and that was SO special, I'm sure you can imagine. We stopped to look at the Tigers and there is a view-finder sort of a thing in that exhibit that sent Sophia into a fit of tears - apparently, not a fan of Tigers. We also saw the leopard exhibit where it was actually pacing next to the glass instead of asleep in the corner. That also made her cry. Maybe she likes cats as much as her mama? :)

Funny how stopping at a table in the shade, with a nice breeze and a GIANT bowl of Cheerios can change anyone's mood, mine included. Between the Cheerios, a $2.50 Diet Dr. Pepper (yes, it was worth it!) and the "fishies" we all ended up having a really good time.

Lunch ended up being the most fun of the day - they both smiled and giggled and kept taking each others food. Very cute.

We dropped Sophia off at daycare for the afternoon (so I could have a quiet afternoon of getting things done (a.k.a. blogging and running the dishwasher) while Davis napped). It was very cute that when we left Davis dissolved into tears crying for "Sophita." :)

I'll put a picture up of the two of them later - they are getting to be VERY good buddies. Good thing, too, since they're stuck with each other.
