The case of the lost pacifiers

The number of pacifiers Sophia owns has been slowly decreasing, even though we bought another pack recently. I assumed we were losing them while we were out, because I've been checking under the crib every once in a while. Saturday, when I went to lower the mattress level on the crib, I discovered where they'd really gone.
