How did I get so old??

Is it possible that I got old and didn't realize it?

I went down the hall tonight to do some laundry and the realization smacked me square in the face.

I walked in to see a cute, skinny girl, maybe early twenties, with great hair doing her laundry out of her fold-up hamper. I looked down and couldn't help but compare the two of us. Here I was, with my wiggly baby, sorting through my wet laundry checking to see if the poop stains came out of Sophia's clothing (which, in case you're wondering, didn't). But to make it even better, my appearance topped all. I had a tank top over my nursing cami, and apparently, after the last time I fed Soph I left that tank top bunched up under my neck; my hair was all frizzy because I didn't allow enough time to get ready and Sophia woke up before I could straighten my hair; and I had spit-up all over my cardigan. I couldn't help but laugh at our differences.

And then, Sophia smiled at me and everything was right with the world.

I can totally relate...it sure is funny how these little stinkers can change a woman!

Good thing they are so worth it! :)
