Homecoming

This weekend was my five year college reunion, so we spent Friday night and Saturday at Bethel. It was nice to see a lot of old friends and spend some time catching up and reminiscing. It was also Sophia's first night without mom or dad - she spent the evening with Grandma and Grandpa. She did a great job, and so did I. I was sure (so was Dan) that I would call and check up on her, but I made it the whole night. :) Bethel has a whole new, and very large, addition to it's college buildings and it was fun to check out the new space, which includes a dance club. Something I never thought I would ever see at Bethel, although, I guess they only open it up for special occasions, like homecoming. The rest of the time, it's just a lounge/study area.

Saturday we headed out to the Bethel Homecoming game. They won, but don't ask me any details of the game or the score. We spent more time chatting with friends than paying attention. We were pretty much in the stroller section of the game, and since we had the stroller, we didn't spend any time up in the stands, but still had a good time.
